What does a HEARTS Friday look like?
HEARTS Fridays foster an environment of fellowship and friendship for parents and their children. Families look forward to closing out their school week by coming together in an effort to support and encourage one another. We average about 75-80 Full Member families who attend Friday classes.
- Families meet 20 Fridays a week from September to April.
- Our current facility is in North Olmsted.
- Students attend 5 class periods from 9:45am - 4:00pm.
- Lunch, homeroom, and chapel all occur between 2nd and 3rd period.
- A parent stays to help throughout the day (teaching, class helper, hall monitor, etc).
- Moms with children under preschool age will stay with that child (nursery room provided).
What classes are normally offered?
Each year brings a new selection of classes, but in general we always provide a mix of fine arts, academic, and fun electives including art and gym. We seek to provide classes that are difficult to accomplish as a family on their own.
